Meet The Professionals
Chase Hegwood
Chase is the owner of SMP of Austin. He started the clinic to bring a guaranteed and cost effective hair loss solution to the Austin and surrounding areas. On his hair loss solution journey he found many problems with the scalp micropigmentation industry in Austin including transparency, fair pricing, and properly trained technicians. He decided to bring some of the best technicians together from other parts of Texas to start an ethical practice with the personal touch of a locally owned business instead of a franchise with little quality control.
Michelle “Chelly” Von Ohlen
Chelly, a co-founder of SMP of Austin, is a native Austinite with a passion for life, creativity, and experience in the tattoo industry. Chelly took interest in scalp micropigmentation after a friend of her’s was getting their first treatment completed. Since she already had experienced working in tattoo shops, Chelly decided to train in SMP with the top artist from the U.K. She started in Houston and worked with a clinic in South Texas to be closer to her parents before moving back to Austin to start a family and a career with SMP of Austin. The rest is history.
